UPDATE::> I was alerted to the fact that my previous Arabic text was backwards, a bit off and should be connected. I wasn't able to do the latter-I have no idea how to properly connect it. Apologies to my Arabic-savvy readers.
The Book: War Without End-The Iraq War in Context by Michael Schwartz
The Review: Eleanor Bader.
The Illustration: The title of the book made me think of 'From Here to Eternity' and the iconic, now cliché scene where Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr are frenching in the surf.
Look for it in the next ish of the Indy- Available in print and online by Friday.

The Indy asked me to do another image for their Nov-Dec '08 issue. So I did. This one is about a magic laptop and its involvement in South American political strife. The Indy has a website too..indypendent.org You can download the current issue, which includes a piece by me, and then check back for the next one!
