Daniel Day-Lewis is brutally good. There Will Be Blood he is probably the best work he's ever done. And its definitely PTA's best film. Will there be better? I don't know if it matters....

Just a little ditty I did today.

MOONBASE

I've tried the new moon tilted in the air
Above a hazy tree-and-farmhouse cluster
As you might try a jewel in your hair.
I've tried it fine with little breadth of luster,
Alone, or in one ornament combining
With one first-water start almost shining.

I put it shining anywhere I please.
By walking slowly on some evening later,
I've pulled it from a crate of crooked trees,
And brought it over glossy water, greater,
And dropped it in, and seen the image wallow,
The color run, all sorts of wonder follow.

Igor the Black Frog

I was up in Seattle right after New Years and got to see this guy do some live digital painting. He's basically nasty. And this is how he really dresses. He jumped up on stage at one point and modeled for a bit. Here's what I came up with.

PARTY WOLF

PARTY WOLF IS A BAND. PARTY WOLF CAN NOT BE STOPPED. EVEN BY THE LAW OR BY NATURE. OR THE TWO COMBINED. ULTIMATE WARRIOR LOST IN A FIGHT WITH PARTY WOLF. THE ONLY WAY TO BEAT HIM IS TO PARTY HARDER THAN HE DOES. AND THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE. Check them out on myspace.
